When does the fuel filter get changed on a 197????

i would be very suprised if it had a seperate filter like older cars, i know on my 172 i couldnt find one and think it was built into the fuel sender unit, i maybe wrong thou.

It is in the service book to be changed at 144k miles.

It's part of the sender unit and not something you should tackle without mechanical knowledge mate to be honest. Big risk of fuel tank going out of shape when removing sender unit. As said it is on the service sheathe but unlikely that unless the sender itself cocks up that anyone would ever bother changing it
