Fitting new gear linkage

Hi all,

Further to by previous gearbox woes, how difficult is it to fit a new gear linkage/cables?

I assume it's the full kit from gearstick back i need to get/fit?

Just putting the standard setup back in

The biggest pain in the ass it getting under the car to take the heat shields and move the exhaust over a bit. Its a lot easier to do once the centre section has been disconnected at the front joint.

Once thats done, take the panel off under the gear lever from there its pretty straight forward.

I obly know of the CAE, but there could be an italian firm but cant recall the name?

Is there any short shifter available apart from CAE?
