Engine management light

Hello can anyone help. I fitted a de cat pipe to my 197 around 3 months ago and lately the engine management light keeps coming on with the warning check emissions for around a week then goes off anyone else had this trouble and what caused it?

Will more than likely be caused by the decat.

I've a decat on mine with catback system, my EML light would briefly flash very very rarely.

You need a lambda fooler, or a remap to "ignore" the warning.

the system is set up to "report" emission failures or "failure to meet emission standards" and the de-cat can cause that...
