Dutch Clio RS200 cup

Hey guys,

my name is Coen. I've recently bought the next car:
12-2009 Renault Clio Rs Cup.
Original dutch car and from 2nd owner.
Its Nimbus grey I think.

Its my first Clio and I have been driving a lot of different cars.
I work with car suspension so cars is not just a hobby but also work

Car is completely standard for now.
My plans are:
- Fit spacers on these OEM wheels (20mm per wheel)
- Fit semi slicks
- Black headlights
- Install Cobra Suspension Race coilovers (front and also rear COILOVER)
- Install nice roofspoiler
- Install Recaro Profi SPG or Pole positions
- Milltek non res exhaust
- Some aero parts..

any other suggestions of things that i HAVE TO BUY?!

Thanks guys!

Coen

Sure Pav.

Btw.. just pulled the trigger on some pole positions and Alu brackets...

Why doesn't anyone stock parts nowadays! :worried:
Milltek 4 weeks
Seats 3 weeks

I'll also be fitting lowering springs first... the coilovers will take another 4-6 weeks and I am not going to wait for that!

I've ordered Cobra Suspension Lowering springs for the Cup
OEM rates
front: 39.4N/mm
rear: 45.5N/mm

Cobra Suspension for cup
front: 47.5N/mm
rear: 62.0N/mm

can't wait to pick up the car!

nice progress..you dont mess about,do you?
so you will have the lowering springs fitted 1st and then the colies??

those cobra spring rates ... not a massive difference to OEM, is it?
close to the bilstein B14 spring rates, i think. (60 n/mm front and rear)

what would such a cobra set up cost?

Hi Pav,
I like to source stuff and upgrade the car and make it more mine.
I am indeed going to lower it first before the coils are ready. I am not a big fan of "non-lowered" cars..

Hi Peter,
The rates are pretty much different. The front are + 20% and rear +36.3% which is pretty much in Lowering spring world.
Depending on car and ride the rates can differ between the +15% and +40% when development has done right.
There are brands that put lower rate springs on the car to lower but that wil absolutely ruin the ride!

These come with TUV or Goca for you.

A set would be somewhere around:
€169,- ex Vat.

But I think I can hook you up when dropping me a pm ;-) + some discount.

let me know if one needs more information.

Thanks guys for looking!

Will pick up the car today and maybe i'll fit some springs coming sunday.
Hopefully the seats and Milltek are coming in more quickly then planned!

Cheers!
