Door Moulding removal

I want to remove my door mouldings to colour code them to my car?
haven't a clue how to get them off. I can get the 1/4 panel mouldings off ok.
I saw the torx bolt on the door moulding but couldnt get any further? any tips?

Mouldings slide off towards the door shut line.

I thought it may have been the case. Is it a matter of being a bit heavy handed with it? as i gave it a slight tug towards the shut but nothing too much!
