dmn1989's Megane R26

Good evening,

I've decided to share a few pics of my latest car on here.

Some of you may remember me from before. I had a LY R27, although had to sell it due to too many penalty points at too young an age.

This was my R27 - FCS0012.jpg

I have also since had a 182 Trophy - DSC_0025.jpg

Just over a month ago i traded in my Megane Coupe for a Megane R26.

57 Plate, with around 30100 miles on the clock.

This is the day i bought her:

I had to wait 3 weeks to get her as we were awaiting the V5 document coming back from the previous owners plate transfer. However in the mean time i made myself busy by purchasing a new cd player with iPod connectivity, a BMC panel filter, forge dump valve and also bought HID's with silvertec bulbs and led side lights.

First night i got her i fitted the new head unit, air filter and dump valve.

Some phone pics after my first clean:

Fitted my eTune sticker after i got my remap done:

The car ticked over 30k on saturday:

Got my docs back for my private plate, so put the new regi plates on:

I have been off today so cleaned her inside and out. Took one quick photo before i retreated back indoors from the cold:

I'm still waiting to get my HIDS, LED Sidelights and Front Silvertec bulbs fitted. Hopefully get these fitted at some point next week.

How are you finding it compared to the previous clios?

The power delivery is not as much fun, it sometimes seems a bit "lazy" in comparison. It's quick though. Very quick.

Handling wise it's just so planted and the steering is immense. Not been able to "push" it due to weather conditions etc.

I'll always miss my clios, especially the Trophy. That was a proper go kart.
