Decent Hotel in London

Looking to get away for a few days of cultural exploration! Want to stay in London, somewhere central and modern. Upto £90 a night is my budget really, as the cost of train to get there at short notice is horrendous!

When we go, we stay in premiere inn, you may laugh but they aren't too bad and tbh you only sleep their at night, you don't spend all day in your room.

We drive to the Loughton Bruckhurst hill one, prices always seem to be great, park here (free) petrol from Notts in the clio was around £30....

only downside for you might be, 5-10min walk to tube, £8 all day ticket within that zone (think its like zone 5/6)

tube takes like 20-30min to central London.

Premier inn rooms are on offer at £49/night in London at the moment, up until the end of Jan IIRC.

Never stayed in a bad 1.

Might not be close enough for you but we had access to a tube station in at the airport.

All staff where very friendly and the food in the restaurant was great!
