Decat turn service light on?

Hi, thinking on decating the mid cat at the weekend and was wondering if this will turn in the service light? A fair few people have said it hasn't in other threads.

As above its a lottery really. Once the ecu learns its lesson the light should go off

Ktec sell them mini cats that fit inline with the lamba sensor. Suppose to be good.

I had a look at these too, seem quite pricey. Cost more than the decat themselves.

Yeah they're expensive! but a spacer should do the same job surely?

Used a spacer on mine when I removed the secondary Cat and not only did I have no warning lights I also noticed no noticeable difference to the dreaded flatspot. Welded in a 12mm Lambda Boss which moved the Lambda "up" roughly 7mm so it was out of the meat of the gas stream in the pipe itself...

Tried and tested, costs about a fiver.

Yep the spacer totally works fitted one on mine after the light came on then reset has been fine since

Put on the decat but was blowing with just the clamp on so I'm going to weld it tomorrow, has everyone removed the silencer too or just the main cat? If you guys have vids or links that be brilliant
