Had mine done Monday at a local specialist, and it runs as good as ever!!
Might be a placebo effect but still feels great!

i asked for all the old parts back......

mines only done 26000m in 5yr and to be honest it could have done another 12month - very little wear on the belts or pulleys - i think the 5yr/72k for 197 is probably a tad conservative and thats why you dont normally hear horror stories of the belts letting go :001_rolleyes:

200 - are now on 6yr/72k iirc

Nice one Luke that's the 4th one they have done in the last couple of months

I asked that to Si and they said they were still in really good condition

If you dont mind me asking what was the damage to the old wallet?

I'm just about to book mine for the same service and I'm just gathering prices atm.

you have a pm!

I'd be interested to know the price also as mine will be due beginning of March and if possible based on price would prefer to maintain a full Renault service history (nothing against independents), but just in case anything goes wrong in the future and I need to ask for a goodwill gesture

Bit ott on changing the water pump imo. Never heard of any issues on the 172/182 and I've been round them since 2004!

maybe but it has to go another 5yrs so for the sake of £50 it got changed because if not its a full strip down to do at a later date
