Custom exhausts and manifold

Hi guys,

New member here, I know there s a million and one exhaust threads but i couldnt find any info on manifolds/headers, so i thought id clump it together with my exhausts query...

I am wondering

- if there are any aftermarket manifolds/headers available for our cars,

- had anybody had a custom manifold made, or a custom exhaust made

- if anyone has gone down the single exit exhaust path with a dummy tip on the blank one

- the pros and cons between custom and commercial exhausts

The only custom manifold I know of is the Group N manifold from Madeno Racing at just over €1600

Theres a german company called riechhard motorsport that do a stainless decated manifold, but it aint cheap.

also the r3 maxi manifold available but again the r3 maxi full system is about 3k

There are a few garages that can do what you want here in Spain, so I think where you live you can do too.
One of my friends had a Clio with custom manifold (decat) and the only improvement was at 7000rpm.
I wanted to install it on my Clio, but my friend and some garages told me that it's not worth doing this if is a street car beacause is a very hard work.
If I remember correctly the cost is 400€ (manifold decat and installed)

Mmm how do you say "intake manifold"?
