Cup suspension question

Hi all,

I've got a standard 197 probably buying myself cup dampers. I've found some cup springs too, do the springs make any difference as I thought it was the dampers that had the drop etc. would I be better off with cup dampers and a set of Eibach springs?

It's the springs that lower the car and the dampers are a bit stiffer.

I have cup springs sat in my garage dunno where your from
