Creaking Steering with Video

I've read most of the topics on here and they're mostly relating to lower ball joint issues...the only thing is this started after I replaced the lower ball joints along with front discs and pads, Eibach springs and spacers from ktec

Does anybody have any other advice?

nope

theres a top joint/swivel as well as the lower one that wears - I cannot see it being anything other than a ball joint issue

Does the noise disappear if the wheels are off the ground?
Is the noise only one side?
Could be the shock mount.

Thanks for the diagram. I'll see if I get a chance to Jack it up today and check. If it does our doesn't make the sound when hacked up could that be potentially something different?

Is it bizarre that it started once the lower was changed?

thing is with that the dampers don't swivel due to the perfo-hub system...

I've had the car on two ramps and there is no way of diagnosing unless everything comes off, I'll keep you updated

I took it to a Renault specialist in Nuneaton and apparently they just took everything apart, put it back together and it was fixed! I had the lower ball joints done just before the creaking started and that's where the problem occurred. But yeah .. all good now

That's interesting mate as mind has just developed a similar noise bug only at low speed ( although I know I need a ball joint done on that side) where dud you take it ?

SRS Independent Specialists .. If you need a ball joint ding I'd recommend the whole thing including the hub. I did it the cheap way and it just caused issue mate
