Hi
Is the crank pulley related to the cambelt? No,right? I can change it when ever i want ?
As far as i know it is related only to ac,alternator, steering . Right?

I'm no mechanic but I always thought it was related to your auxiliary belt.

You can change it whenever you want mate.

Yeah the crank pulley is the main toothed lower pulley for the timing belt. The ribbed Aux pulley bolts through the crank pulley.

Good ,thanks
Then not need to rush and change it @ the cambelt service
I will delay it for later
Btw it was asked for my other clio (mk2) which is rusted cd13a96b91fb4c687969a4f5db44a3a5.jpg
But well i suppose it is a same principal .
P.s seems like our 200's well protected .will never rust !

why leave until a later date?

if having the cambelt changed it has to be removed so if its old/worn then replace then and forget until next belt change :book:

renault do/did recommend the pulley be changed on belt changes as some had the damper break apart...

Aiight thanks
Thx kazu but im too far from you [emoji16]
And not even sure it is the same pulley( mk2 1.4 98 hp k4j 710)
