The inquest into the tragic helicopter crash has concluded that the accident could have been avoided had McRae not attempted to do some low altitude flying in the valley.

I have to say that yes he was an absolute amazing rally driver and will always be regarded as one of the best the world of rallying has ever seen, just a shame then that he was a complete nob in a helicopter, showing off skill that he didnt have and killing three other people, 2 of which were children....... A sad day for the families involved.

TBH there are a million reasons that it could have been avoided... If he hadn't gone in a helicopter for one.
