Colder Spark Plugs?

Anyone use one step cooler Spark Plugs?
If yes what is the ref that you use?

No, you'll find virtually everyone uses stock plugs as these are best for our engine.

I used NGK BR8ES because I was running Nos so needed to run a colder plug, they worked perfectly fine and as a bonus were just 10% of the price of the OEM ones.

why change them on a standard engine?

they will cover a range of temperaures anyway so unless theres big changes i wouldnt bother...

Unless the car has been mapped wrongly, or your using nitrous, then there is little point..

-you will more than likely lose some torque

I've actually used 197 plugs in tuned 172s and 182s becuase they are a grade colder, and cheaper. they're a pretty ideal plug for the F4R 830, and same plug as the meg 225. Plenty of headroom before you need to go colder IMO
