Guys any of you using a Helix fast road clutch? need to replace the thrust bearing so i am going to change the lot whilst in there.

The Helix one i going to stand me £500 rather than £300 for std with bearing. The main reason for looking at the Helix is due to trackdays and the std one seems to perform ok but gets noisy when hot

i gather that everyone is using a standard clutch. I have ordered the Helix one from K-Tec, so will post my thoughts on it when it gets done.

£1K clutch change is bonkers though

Not at all I think, Ben_R1 has the Helix one in his and we has running NOS, now running ITBs if I recall correctly. (might be worth checking his progress thread)

Would be good to hear your views too though as to if you can feel a difference. Where's it being fitted?

Are you getting the fly wheel as well? I'm considering getting the race clutch soon, give some feedback of how it feels when it's all sorted

not fitting a new flywheel, i doubt i would need one with 26K on the clock. it will be fitted by a high performance specialists, here in the IOM.

basically my cup has a miltek decat back, panel filter and K-tec renflash map... with these mods i noticed a huge difference in the way the car behaves on track and its certainly a lot faster.

I need to do the cambelt soon and was thinking of maxigon and cams, but that might not happen just yet due to the cost.... but im always thinking ahead lol.
