Quick Q.

Looking at doing the V6 airbox conversion.

Is only Ap Motorpsort that do the mounting bracket for this?

Also whats so special about a green cotton filter?

There is one from weeder motorsport/NO7 which is one I used, usable for the price but the holes don't line up great and I had to use some spacers under it so the airbox would sit in more securely.

Not sure on the filter, we upgraded to a green one after having the paper one for a while and there isn't any noticeable difference. I assume cotton is just "better" than paper?

I will take a look at it! Looking at it it seems fairly straightforward to make so might just see about manufacturing my own next year.

Interesting on the filter front. Did the cotton filter improve noise at all?

definitely worth it if you can get the material cheap! If I were to do it again i’d probably try it myself as well.

I didn’t notice a difference to be honest, I am a bit deaf though so probably not the best person to ask on that front @burrellbloke

I was fortunate enough that mine came with a green cotton one, would be better over your traditional paper filter but noise wise you’d barely be able to tell

To be fair I doubt you’d notice the noise over standard

I did my own way , how someone earlier said , the no7 part doesnt fits very well ...

I’d buy a proper bracket if you can find one available anywhere.
