Clio 200 K-Tec on 197

Hi,

I have been offered a cheap 200 K-tec system (cat back), however I have a 197. I know the obvious difference with the rear. however if I buy exhaust tips from K-tec can I fit the exhaust to my 197 or are they completely different?

If not I may soon have a K-tec system for sale for 200...

With the tips there's no reason why it shouldnt fit. People swap and change exhausts all the time. Its just for 197 exhaust you have to chop the tips down to fit behind the 200 diffuser, and with 200 exhaust it needs extending to bring out past the diffuser.

You'll just need to check the tip diameters to see if they fit

Hi,

Does anyone also know the standard exhaust diameter? Will the standard slash cut tips fit onto the K-tec, the new system will be 2.5, struggling to find the answer and currently unable to measure standard system...
