Found some spare minutes and continued fitting of brakeducts.
Had to remount the module under left headlamp to the batterytray. Its space there after fitting redtop battery.
On right side i will get a new custom made washer tank for clearence.
I need to cut of approx 15cm on the pøastic duct before fitting bumper. With my 20mm spacer on oem wheels its just enough clearence when full lock (tire/duct).
A bit of job for a small mod:smile:
Also painted front and rear emblem black.

Thats all for now...

Hi again.. lot to do before vacation but had a couple of hours on the Clio...
Started making special washerfluid tank from alu breather tank with house sink flex tube... same tread...:smile:
Fitted trim around the new gear lever and some progress on brakeducts. Also fitted oem seatbelt lock for use of oem belt on road (rules). Adjustable angle due to teflon washers, happy with that soulution:smile: Finally fitted rear emblem after paint.

Now it will be my mg zt 1.8 t who need some fix before vacation. Oil service, cambelt, tensioner, belte, waterpump, 2x thermostat, cam cover seal and 4x cam seals.
Hopefully finished in the weekend so I can continue my Clio "RS3R" trackday build:smile::smile:

Thats all for now....

Hi,
Been on vacation (after tons of work on my MG ZT..:worried:...) so no work on the clio for to many weeks.
Just fitted real carbon fiber door mirrors gt2i web shop. Good finish but holes in door didnt line up with fixingpoints on new mirror.
Had to use car bond to glue them to the car.
Not optimal solution but they most likely wnt fall of....
Not the best pictures due to bad light and daylight...

Thats all for now...

Been a while since I posted and its due to much work in company.
An small utdate on Christmas...
I have sold oem calippers in front.
Will order new Megane RS big brake kit from Goodspeed after Christmas if wife havent used all money on Christmas gifts
Also i found out that i have a leak between gearbox and engine so next up is gearbox removal and change seals and fix a diff Think I go for a Blackline. Greatful for some input about recommended diff option.
I also removed radiator support and bought a new std clio support for modification. It only had some minor corrosion but I hate reinstall parts that not are close to 100%
Wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Clio Year

If your car is a fast road car get a Blackline as they are very similar to a Quaife but cheaper.

If you use your Clio on track, and mostly on track, then consider a plated diff like a Gripper.

Hi, thanks for respond. Car will be fast road and some trackday driving so I think my money will be spent on a Blackline

I love the aggressive nature of the Gripper in my car. It was fine to drive on the road but just sounded odd and clunky with a plated diff when parking in a busy car park.

These Clios really should have come with a diff as an optional extra as it gives them so much more grip in and out of corners.

Absolutly, i once had a Focus RS mk1 with oem diff and it was fantastic true corners. I think a diff is one of the best upgrades you can do.to drivers feel and handling on a car like like the Clio
