Gaz gold's arrived last Friday and the strengthened beam has been fabbed up.

New Garage door on the Garage Monday. Which means that the clio will be in hover mode for the Xmas period and suspension refresh will be complete! With new bushes and coils.

Debating whether to get the box off and fit the diff myself but unsure if this is beyond me.

I will also add, reason for DIYing the diff is purely because I want to get the car back and I'm too tight to pay for two geo setups in 3 months.

That is very true.

I did look at buying a TL4 I could tinker with and get the box in but I didn't realise how much they are from a breakers!

Some of you may have seen a post of mine on here asking about power from Cams as a friend of mine was looking for a car… well the peer pressure worked and he bought it to come play on track.

Got it over the pit today for a look underneath (first time it’s been used in my ownership too!) and to fit a ZPO shifter for him. Looking forward to seeing the fuss about them.

Honestly it’s such a life saver. I don’t think we’d have done the shifter without it. And a garage big enough to work is great too. Door shut away from the world and warm too.

So update. ZPO shifter fitted fine but took some adjustment as is to be expected.

Do i want one? Kinda. The price really puts me off. But I think if I could just raise the standard shifter it’ll be 80% if the way there.

2 Months, out on the 31st of this month. Been a chore trying to find a new place too.

Gaz golds and PMS beam now on the car! Busy Boxing Day for me lol.

Top engine mounts changed also. Still need to do dog bone and gearbox mount.

Cage booked with Parkin Race Developments

Still to do:
Mount bushes mentioned above
Bleed brakes
Front arm bushes
New road/wet tyres
MOT
New front wiper arm (Barry big arms might have been a bit too overzealous getting one of them off)
Buy harness
Fit diff - see when and if I can be arsed or it’s going to be done by a specialist.
