Had a look at the butterfly valve in the throttle body and wanted to know how you would clean it. Can the valve be moved my hand at all?

would be easier to remove it from the engine bay really..done it both ways and it is easier to remove..it can be moved by hand but its a pig though..
i got a brake cleaner spray to clean it with and some microfibre cloth..

Great stuff, is there anythin other than the 3 or 4 bolts holding it on? Are there torque settings for the bolts?

Cleaned mine without removing it, was fairly easy in-situ to be fair. It does push open, takes a little force though (push the top half inwards towards the engine).

Cleaned with Microfibre + Wynns Fuel Injection & Carb cleaner http://www.halfords.com/motoring/en...ynns-fuel-injection-carburettor-cleaner-500ml

After you've cleaned, especially if using a cleaner like the above - I'd recommend waiting an hour or so before starting up the car so the cleaner has time to evaporate other wise it'll take the car a while to start
