Cigarette lighter

So it stopped working randomly last week. I've looked at some other forums and all they talk about is the fuses. I've checked and fuse is still intact.

Does anybody know anything else i could try?

Not taken it apart but had a fiddle.. And feels all right.. But yeah think that's the next job.. Taking it apart.
 
Ive got the exact same problem mate, sat nav charger doesn't work in my 12v socket but works in every other car I've tried, checked the fuse and even swapped it with another 15amp fuse for something else - the horn I think - horn still works with the fuse for the 12v socket but 12v doesn't with it's fuse either, I've dismantled the console to check wiring etc. all seems OK, not sure what else it could be.
