Changing key batteries.........

Is it a case of just swapping the battery or is there a certain procedure? Just don't wanna leave myself stuck if the key needs re-mating to the car.
 
just change the battery mate I think you have a few minutes to change it - I did mine a few days ago just wapped the original out and had the new one in within about 20 seconds
