Call of Duty and Internet Usage

Does anybody no how much data is sent/received on say 1 Call of Duty game?

I play it maybe a couple of times a week and not for a prolonged period either and the bill this month has an extra £5 for "other usage". I'm wondering if we've gone over our limit.

Unless your running a server not a lot (I think I had one that was doing 20+gig a month =O ) . Dependant on the game the amount of data transferred would most likely be something in the region of 20-80kb/s, though it also depends on how many people you're playing against too.

Are you on some kind of limited bandwidth contract?

No, I'm pretty sure we've got like a 10gb allowance, which is why I was so surprised. I don't download a great deal of music or movies, so thought maybe it was the PS3 but it can't be.

might be worth it to see, I don't particularly trust consoles connected to the internet.... At least trying that for a month would rule out your PC.

Thats mad. Im on my laptop and xbox constant and never been over which is worse as me and my mrs both on live playing. lol

I've been running this on one of my computers here and have racked up 10.8gig since this thread (I was intrigued what I was using too), could probably double that given my second PC :s cripes!
