Broken wing mirror

Hi my mate has a 197 and the passanger wing mirror has cracked on the painted part do you need to buy a whole new wing mirror or is it just a cover that is on the wing mirror ?

My sis got a normal Clio and had to buy the complete mirror to replace it... But I have seen caps on the internet, but where, I don't know. Must have been German Ebay,

There are hundreds on ebay all different colours and also unpainted, id suggest he has a look through there!

I'd have put money on that you can buy the caps seperately. If you have to buy the whole mirror thats a joke

Covers are available seperatley, cost is around £25 + vat. Bear in mind they dont come to colour, ie, they are supplied in primer.

The mirror glass is about £28, and the actual mirror body is £160 + vat.

no the caps come seperate on the clio mate thet come in primer ready to paint

Yes - there is a 'How To' in that section on the forum. Very easy and should take you about 15 minutes if done correctly.
