What is the best red calliper paint you can buy for a good finish? I know halfords do some but i think you could probably get better stuff than that??

Could do with some for mine as the have a few chips on them.

I've used the Halfords red on two cars now. Just done one side of my clio this weekend, not the best of pics but gives you an idea. Wouldn't say it was pink either seems to match the colour of the car perfectly. Also the last car I used this paint on looked just as good 12 month down the line.
Only problem with it is it took 4 coats. I don't like applying it too thick incase it runs so prefer to take my time with the coats.

Just been to a garage I get with rele well and the chap I know there said Hammerite is known for setting alight on brakes, he went on saying two of his mates used it and both set alight and after some digging on google a few ppl on other clubs have said the same. So I'm going to sand them completely down and use the halfords stuff. Lol what a waste of time!!

Another reason not to bother with the Hammerite red, its NOT the same red as the Brembo red. (its a little lighter)
