Here's a technical one for you.

On the cup car I'm building I have a new brake pedal fitted (I think the pivot point is altered) and I have bought a new master cylinder.

I have the servo from the parts car I bought (57 plate 1200 16v), it all seems to bolt together nicely but the part number for the 1200 part is different to the one listed for a 197, I was wondering what the difference could/would be? volume, leverage etc.

What would the difference cause if I were to use this? if less volume inside, more pedal travel, less pedal travel, stronger pedal, weaker pedal?

I've searched google etc and not really come up with any answers, just how things work and offers to sell me reconditioned ones :smile:
