Brake discs: Tarox or Brembo

Hello,

Talked to my mechanic about finally replacing my brakes.

He advised me:

pads: ferodo ds performance, as the ds2500 seem to wear fast with road use.

The discs: tarox grooved discs.

What would be better? Ktec offer is a lot cheaper though... Is tarox the better brand ?

I've literally just ordered the K-tec disks myself.
Shall find out if they're any good soon enough.

How about the pad wear with grooved discs?
To they really wear that heavily ?

I have the grooved black edition Brembo disks, been on about 2weeks so cant comment on wear rates, but with the DS2500's they are a great combo!

Edit: As for Tarox being better.... never been. Brembo disks are a great bit of kit

Whats the sizem on the brembos? Same as original ?
