Bonnet hinges?

Morning all.

Just a quick question on behalf of a friend of mine who has a 182.

He recently bought it but came with bonnet raisers on it which look quite naff! We have spotted a 172 in our local breakers and wondered if the 172 bonnet hinges would fit his 182 as he didn't receive the original ones with the car and Renault will probably think of a ridiculous price for them.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Cheers mate,he was looking at normal 1.4's etc but I reckoned it would be safer to stick to the sports at least lol

1.4 hinges will be exactly the same as the 182

arent bonnet raisers just a solid peice of metal that is sandwiched between the hinge and the bonnet?

Perfect,least if the 172 bonnet is away this afternoon then we'll have more choice.

The raisers are a hinge in itself so the originals are totally removed mate.
