Another Rattle solved

The last few days a new noise developed from the rear of the car, right after I fixed the boot latch noise [emoji19]

It was a really tinny metallic noise and I obviously jumped to the worst case "thers something loose under the car and my wheels gonna fall off"

The noise would happen completely randomly, might happen under breaking, might under acceleration, might on a bumpy road or a smooth road.

So I dismantled the boot, all plastics out and couldn't find anything loose. Baffled as to what it could be, I started to re-assembled it....

The C pillar knocking on the rear window...
Note to self, all rattles are not as complex as I think

Not heard of this one before, but it's a good one to add to the list of stuff to check when the rattles start

Awesome, glad it was something small

How'd you fix it? Bit of anti rattle tape between it?

Yea just wedged some black double sided tape in the gap. Hopefully that'll fix it

Soon to be replaced by another....

You sort a rattle and it unsettles the balance of the car and it finds a new rattlex
