am i being dumb with mounting points?

hey guys, sorry if this is in the wrong section but just wanted to make sure i not being dumb.

I'm looking at fitting a brace bar like the Mini Cooper S GP has but i've never seen a clio with a bar where the rear seats would be so i assume it can't be mounted there?

also like the megane trophy too

Yeah I've seen those, sorry I meant is it possible to mount a bar further forwards into the cabin? Really above where the rear seats would be

no it isnt.the width of the bar is exactly to fit like in the picture above..i tried to mount it somewhere else but it wouldnt..

The ideal position for a rear strut brace would be between the rear shock mounting points.

Cant see the point in moving it forward to the rear seat position ?
