Airbag warning light

Morning All

My check airbag light has just come on, I was told the last time this happened to simply move the seat and the sensor would be adjusted, this worked the light went off. Yesterday i cleaned inside and moved the seat but simply moving my seat has not worked.

Is there anything else I can do?

Any advance on this? Mine has come on the other day but goes on and off intermitently.

It is the plug, you can either get Renault to fix it or remove it and join the wires direct. Common problem I believe.

The airbag plug is under the seat. It's a yellow and black plug - check it's connected properly. On the standard seat you will need to remove the plastic panel trim on the outside of the base of the seat, this just slides off. On the Recaro seat it's underneath.

If this isn't as simple as this, take it to someone that knows what they're doing as an airbag warning light is now an MOT failure (I believe).

Thanks guys. It has Recaro seats and is with Renault for today for them to check it through.

Connection issue. They also washed and vac'd it, and did that check list thing they normally charge for. Bonus!
