Airbag light DF062

Hi my bloody airbag light has come on just before I was going to mot and sell my car. I've had it plugged in and the fault is DF062 Front seat belt retractor circuit short. The garage I took it to suggested that it could be the pretensioner but after doing a bit of research recaros don't have them. I'm guessing by the name it could be where the belt gets wound up but before I go any further has anybody come across this before?

a loosen/damaged wire under a passenger seat would be my guess..same issue here..trying to sort it as we speak..

I've bypassed the connector under the pass seat and tried the wires on their own and that didn't make any difference. Out of interest do you have 5 wires going into the plug and 3 from the seat side?

Not sure mate as im on holiday and my mechanic is sorting it out this week...

Tried the passenger seatbelt reel and that connection seemed ok, before I go any further has anyone got any ideas before I take the car to pieces!

it was a crash sensor that got somehow unlpugged on the b pillar...hope it helps
