a/c driving me nuts!

hi
recently my a/c is rubbish - the a/c is on and the fan is on the ac cooling the car and sometimes its just turn off(fan still work ,revs still higher)but no cooling..
and its on/off by itself automatically.
anyone experienced this issue?
(light on button always on)

Probably an obvious suggestion but have you tried regassing it.

I believe the ac systems sense when the gas pressure is low and turn off the system entirely to prevent damage.

i regassed it yes..(550 iirc)
but still faulty

If you can get access to renault clip, read the pressures whilst it's happening, and also make sure engine cooling fan low speed is working.

I had one before (on a scenic) doing similar, and turned out to be the compressor.
