3 mobile mifi E586 ?

Has anyone used one of these and could give me an idea on the speed/coverage of these devices?

It would be ideal for me to use my laptop and xbox while i'm away from home so much.

I work for 3 mate speed and coverage depends on area the mifi are designed to run upto 12mbs currently again depending on area mine at home runs 7 and I have a good signal at my address
If you planning on running anything major I.E Xbox I'd go on our 15GB package at £18.99 a month as its going to be using large amount of data but be vigilant as you can still use 15GB in a month if you go into your local 3 store though and sign up ask for them to cap your bill keeps you safe from going over also ask them to service check where it will be used most and they'll give you best idea of what it'll be like

I have this to run liveonlinefooty at work at the weekends and for when we go in the campervan anywhere. It's pretty good but coverage in remote places can be difficult ie campsites lol.
