Thanks guys, it wasn't as much as it is when its busy. I had the track to myself a lot of the time.
The 55 cars weren't on at the same time, they got broken up into groups so you have to go out when it's your groups turn. I haven't been at a session like that but I like the open pit because you can go out whenever you want.
As for the Abarth and clio;/ we have done a couple of in gear tests,
2nd gear 30mph (Abarth with the sport button on)-The abarth pulls a bonnet length till the clio gets on cam then the clio pulls ahead convincingly.
3rd gear at 40mph (again sport on)-Again it pulls a bonnet length then slowly pulls till the clio changes to 4th then its all over.

Typical track day with the "straight liners" too lol.... too much money, fast cars, no balls. Im not being nasty but that GTR (and the Lotus for that matter) should have obliterated you!

How much is a track day at Knock these days? Is it open pit or sessions?

You should sign up for one, I use a kodak zi8 and a suction mount.
The GTR and lotus to be fair had only been once before, It's a demanding track in the dry never mind greasy conditions.
The prices are changing so I'm not sure, the 4 hours of that session was £100
