197 headlight problem

I have a problem, my main beam drivers side light isnt working, popped and got some new bulbs, still isnt working?!? any ideas?? anyone had the same problem?

checked them all fox, all seem to be fine, also over ruled this to start with as surely the headlights would both run off one fuse?

normally its passager side lights and driver side lights. I know if u disconnect the fuses/relays infront of the battery it knocks the passager side headlight off.

haha I have now gathered that opinion too arran, anyone any ideas which fuse to check?? think i will change them all anyway to see if that erases the problemo

have you checked BOTH fuse boxes....

you need to see if theres a feed to the multi plug on the back of the headlamp - if not then work back from there

Hi all,

sorry to dig this thread up but just wondering what the outcome was?

I have a problem where at the minute the passenger side headlight works but its basically pointing at the ground and the adjuster internally doesnt make any difference.

The drivers side adjusts up and down but the passenger doesnt.

Any help would be great.

I have always assumed so because the light actually turns on.

its possible its not fitted flush to the light unit. take it out and try again. you got the standard lights or the projectors?
