102 fuel

Because the Clio has a knock sensor it should be able to take advantage of higher octane unleaded, though 102RON is a lot higher than normal so I am not certain the timing could be advanced that much.

mixed answers there its made by aral a german fuel company but interestingly shells v power racing 100 costs more, i get fuel tax free so its just under 1 euro a litre not looking forward to comin back to england espically with the clio mpg :worried:

theres one way to find out......

probably have to run it on it for a while to clear the tank and lines etc of the "cheap" stuff :001_rolleyes:

as for the ability to advance the timing far enough....it will only go so far before its counter productive

102 octane fuel will lose it's RON over a few months, just bear in mind if you store the car for long periods.
