Pipercross panel filter now fitted to my 200, advice please. Is it normal that after fitting a foam filter the car seems less responsive and slower on pick up? #confused

My 200 has started to struggle with 3rd to 4th gear changes, notably only when 6k plus revs. At low revs changes are smooth but high end it needs a healthy pull to get in. Is this early signs of my gearbox giving up????:001_unsure:

Another Saturday spent cleaning. This week the bodywork, calipers and wheels got the Supaguard treatment, should aid future cleaning! Nearly got the car to look like new again 8)

Took the opportunity to bottom the 200 today and ending up doing the family motor also, pint and a film tonight me thinks!

Old plates off, new ready to go on. Keep thinking about spraying the alloys gloss black to match the diffuser, mirror etc, any thoughts on this? Anyone else done that with this style of wheel?

Just picked up my 2010 200 full fat in Nimbus, love it! Not had chance to drive it much yet though due to the weather, can't wait for spring! Tried to add a pic but it keeps crashing?:@
