Yeah I think it has something to do with the belts, as mine did this untill I had them changed.

Ah right. What size tyres should I be using on the 18's - 215/40 or 215/45?

Yeah they're 18s. The tyres fitted are 235/40/18 - are these the right size for the clio? They seem to be rubbing the arches quite a bit but maybe thats the spacers.

Not sure what size tyres are on them, I'll check when I'm home. There are some k-tech spacers on aswell which I'm going to get rid of.

Yeah sorry I don't think I explained it properly! Basically I have this problem (The video) http://www.clio197.net/forum/showthread.php?t=19334&highlight=knocking+noise Its very loose and making a knocking noise when cold etc so I think it needs replacing - Not sure what its called some...

Does anyone know if the engine has to be supported to change the top mount, or do you just take the old one off and replace it easily? Cheers
