Love the mk6 GTI's... Was reading about the mk7 GTI earlier,, it's going to be 100kg lighter than the mk6 with alloy roof and bonnet ect and it's guna have a totally different chassi to the base models.. Due out later this year :thumbup:

I paid £150 for it which I thought was a bargain tbh.. To buy a decent bolt in cage of any sort you would expect to pay at least 4 or £500.. Ok that's a great help mate thanks..

Ok thanks.. Glad ya can get the rear panels on when it's in.. Didn't do any research on it as I saw it on eBay as it was about to end.. Think il have a trial fit next weekend...

Right iv managed to pick an Oulton Park roll cage up and just wondering if anyone has fitted one on here.. Just wondering if the rear side panels can be refitted after the cage is bolted in.. Plan is to have it painted Glasier White and board the rear out flat to tidy things up once its in...

Yeah cheers mate,, it did lacks a bit of bass that's for sure.. Thing is now the subs in I'm itching to fit some decent components up front..

Does anyone have a pic of there car with the H&R / cup shocks fitted just to give an idea of the sort of drop I could expect.. My car has the cup chassis so I might give the H&R springs a go.. Not really been a fan of springs in the past as they have all seemed to be bouncy but I could see how...
