I had one of these. nice cars... one of the better diesels i have driven in terms of feedback and handling. Downside is best you can hope for is about 46 -48mpg. I had mine remapped which made it pretty powerful. Usual though, watch for clutch slip and unlike the vag group i came from nowhere...

i've always been tempted by the Alfa Romeo Giuletta cloverleaf. A bit soft in comparison to the clio, but i think a good looking car, slightly more fuel friendly, more practical and power. Alfa are doing some good offers i think as well on brand new.

Thanks for all the responses, i couldnt see anything saying pending codes. I too thought there was only knock sensor. Cylinders 1-3 were showing knock figures in the 80's cylinder 4 was like 400's. No idea how it was calculating them. What do you clean the TB with, carb cleaner or just a...

clear plastic over the dials rattles like hell in my 200... does my nut in. I also get a trapped gerbil sound from the the glovebox once in a while.... not too sure what the hell that is.

i came from an ibiza cupra dsg 1.4tsi remapped. its was fast.... in a straight line, changing gear is miliseconds and flappy paddles were a hoot also gave around 40mpg . Previously though had a clio 200, strangely im back in a clio 200 - so that says a lot. As long as they have kept the feel...

Ok, my dash has bgun rattling, i've located an offending wire which i have stuck down and stopped an annoying rattle. Turns out this was masking another rattle. It appears the guage screen (clear plastic thing) seems to creak and rattle. Applying a little pressue to the front of it stops it...
