Anyone have an idea if the part is generic across the range or specific to the 197/200?

Sorry to drag up an old thread.... Did you change the solenoid in the end - i think mine has gone faulty as i have similar issues as you describe. Is the part specific to the F4R or is fitted to other renault engines?

Took prospeed less than an hour to do from getting the car on the ramps, cutting the box out, measuring the stainless pipe length needed, opening/stretching the stainless pipe on each end so that it sleeved over the existing exhaust sections and then welding it up.
