sideays clio 200!!
I'm looking to get some wheel spacers for my Clio 200 Cup.
Can someone tell me what thickness I need front and rear please?
I'd like the wheels to sit properly flush with the arches but obviously not stick out beyond them
Will I need longer wheel bolts?
If you have a good link of...
Looking to replace the R888's on the front of my Clio 200, anyone tell me the cheapest place to get some?
Camskill and Black circles don't seem to stock the right size, K tec have them but they're very expensive at £188 each.
Anyone know anywhere cheaper??
If you drive the Clio after your Porsche of course it will feel quiet, smooth riding and gutless at low revs!
I have an Impreza STI and every time I get back in the Clio after a few days of driving the scooby I'm shocked by the lack of torque and the relative lack of traction.
however...
I have R888s on my 200 and love their performance and longevity on the track.
However, I do a lot of miles on the road and hate the tyre roar these things bring.
Are other brands of semi slick track tyres any better in this regard?
I find the 200 much easier to control in a slide than my old Trophy - that thing used to hop about at the limit, where the 200 just slides smoothly and predictably. The fast and feelsome steering makes it very easy to apply and wind off the opposite lock and the fast throttle response means you...

watch from about 5:11 onwards for the Clio. It's all in German, but basically he's saying the Clio has beautiful steering, great brakes and a chassis that allows you to get absolutely everything from the car. He also mentions that it's extremely...

Usually lift off is enough, sometimes a dab with the left foot to get the front hooked up and unsettle the rear.
No handbrake in those vids though - just don't need to in those conditions :-)
Anneau is about 30 mins from the Swiss border in Alsace.
Whereabouts is Mas du Clos?
Here are a few of the more sideways clips from a recent trackday at Anneau du Rhin in France.
You can drive the 200 very smoothly and neutrally in the wet if you want.... or you can provoke them into pretty extreme slides :-)

do you have a cup? My non-cup has one touch windows, just have to press them a bit harder to activate it.
Ditto, the non-cup has a clutch foot rest.
The inside of the renault logo is black rubber for a reason - it houses the locking button on cars equiped with keyless go.
There's no 3...
exhaust sounds great. have you fitted yours yet?
so your wheels are now 8 inch wide? what tyre are you using? how does the car respond to the wider tyres?
nice car mate, I also have a white 200 that I take on the track pretty often, great cars :-)
Couple of questions...
Firstly, what offset are your OZ alloys?
Secondly, how do you find the exhaust?
