Cheers for the comments guys. Not 4 full days lol, was a few hours working on it each day! Kept getting rained off. Next time it gets polished i'll be paying someone else to do it. So time consuming and boring after about 10 minutes!

Hi folks just a few crappy phone pics, will upload more once i've taken them with a camera! Process was clay, polish with meguiars ultimate compound via g220, glaze with poorboys white diamond, sealed with poorboys EX-P and three coats of dodo juice light fantastic wax!

Possibly the track rod itself? Mine was making a clunking sound and there was movement (3 & 9 position) when i had it jacked up! Turned out the inner ball joint of the track rod was worn, also an 07 plate, only done 40000 miles!

What side is it mate? If its the passenger side you can get to it by taking the airbox out and reaching down! I used vice grips on it and it came loose quite easily! Bit of hassle taking the battery and airbox out but saves some money!

Bilt hamber auto-clay is good and only needs water as lube! pretty sure you could get away with using water with all of them, just a money making scheme imo!

are the track rod and track rod ends the same on all clio models from 05-onwards? cheers

i had this and it was pretty bad so i took the backing caps off for the indicator bulb and the full beam bulb, then turned on all the lights (dipped and full beam) to heat it up. i then heat up the outside with a hairdrier and at the same time used the hose from the hoover, which fitted...

they stick up a few mm! theres a plastic bit underneath them that's stopping them going right down and i dont want to cut it off incase they end up rattling about...unless someone can assure me that they won't lol!
