If by load you mean foot flat to the floor through 2nd and 3rd gear, then yes there was some hesitation in that upper rev range. I'm not sure what it was like if I held it at say 5.5k or 6k rpm. I'm going out later today and will see if it continues to be improved. I don't fully understand how...
