Definitely great for track days and more. I bought mine for hillclimbs and sprints but will also be using on the odd track days. Biggest thing to look out for is the gear box ~ 3rd to 4th gear crunches are common and when the synchro's go can cost a bit to sort.

@VeiRoNv2 removed something like 3kg of sound deadening and then a load of metal brackets for around a 6kg weight saving I believe. You can do both though @jimmybell for even more weight savings (not my Clio but lots of metal holes cut to save weight). :thumb:

@Alistair did you fit the stud conversion? I've got a set ready to go on my car but wondered if you knew what nm or ft/lbs they should be torqued up to when fitting into the hub please? K-Tec racing list on their website their own stud conversion kit which they say "Tighten stud into hub to...

Rear brake calipers look great ~ how much was the refurb roughly and did they supply everything like seals/bolts etc?

Yep exactly. If you've got the money you can get a built engine with ITB's to around 240-250Bhp but for what that costs it's cheaper to go forced induction or engine swap for bigger numbers.
