Spun the shells on piston 3, so have just put a new engine in it, so it is being driven very carefully the now. Might try and venture up to pit street again one night, will see if any of the lot down here wanna go.

Has anyone modified the gearbox in a 197. Looking for information to basically drop the revs in 6th gear, to give me better mpg. Any info or help would be great.

The speedo cable is in two sections on these cars if memory serves right, You will prob find it is one of them that has snapped. Easy repair.

Could you ask him if he has any info on th ecu front, does it have to be a renault dealer to reflash the ecu, and does he still get all the comforts?

So does anyone know of anyone who has done this? Also if you dump a meg map on to the clio ecu, will you still get the keyless entry, or would you need a megane card for this to work? Any info on this would be great as i am in the situation to maybe try this.

Most alpine headunits will do the orange glow, The front doors are 5" speakers, but you can fit 6" easily or even 8" as i am doing the now.

Yeah, I used th orginal tweeter mounts. Fitted in quite nicely. But before you do try the tweeters in different place to see what sounds the best for you.
