I purchased Mtec rear discs and pad and am very happy with them. The coating is a good option (no rusty centres). Good value and fast service.

Nigel at Intrim in Woking, Surrey did mine. He is local to me - came and removed seat, then 2 days later fitted it with repaired bolster. Good service.

Are you running standard springs, cup or aftermarket? And what's it like please? Thinking of similar on my 197. Thanks.

Nice car! Re the upper torque mount, was it quite simple to fit? I am thinking about beefing up my engine mounts to protect the flexis on the manifold mainly, and would like to do this upper one myself (no garage, basic tools... Limited skills)

How much would you expect to pay for Renault discs and pads on the front of a 197 please? My independent specialist is saying about £400 fitted with VAT, which seems steep to me. I am thinking of pulling the car and going for more performance oriented after market, although the car is standard...
