keep or sell

should also add that had I more experience I wouldn't have braked - I would have planted it and kept going.. as soon as I put my foot on the brake I started to slide and when the car finally gripped the arse went about nose!

interesting one .....

I was just thinking about this today .... I have an R26 Megane with 30K on the clock, its just getting up to 3 years old. I need to keep it really for the next 4 years and I have no problem with this ... However I do about 15K a year so in 4 years it will have done 90K !!

Now I wonder how much it will start costing me in parts over that time !?

I am trying not to think about it !

to say I love it is an understatement - still tempted to use the rest of my savings and upgrade to a 200 if the right deal came along - and after christmas it might......

How old are you Woody, may I ask ?

Mine's going nowhere.

The plan is to just keep her and in three years time once the second hand RS250 prices come down, I'd like to get one of those. The RS250 will become the ''family'' car and the Clio will become a toy and be treated to a bit of work. In the meantime I plan to make some subtle changes to her, but nothing too loud/drastic as we've a lil'un due next month.

Sometime before the RS250 arrives, the missus should have sorted her driving out too and if so then I'm going to try and push her towards an RS Twingo or Abarth 500... You know, nice and small and economical... But I won't feel a **** driving it if we go somewhere in it hahaha!!!

Keeping mine for a while, but it may have to go in favour of a more economical estate if I eventually get a house! Not sure when that is likely to be though! At least 12 months.

2 more years then change I think, either a RS Focus or get a lease car and spend savings on an Lotus Elise!

If I keep it for longer, i will get a diesel or something as a run around and have the 197 as a weekend car.

I seriously love my 200 and like Paul this weekend just added to it.

At the moment I want to keep it forever but if autocar is right and a 220bhp 40mpg 2litre n/a will be in the next clio it will be bye bye 200!!!

i had a play with an exige before my car was garaged . . . omg it cornered like a train.
